Bois Lavergne is an exceptional gite complex in the idyllic Dordogne countryside, close to the typically French village of Villac. From the entrance of Bois Lavergne, you can look over a spacious area of meadow and grassland surrounded by trees such as Chestnut, Walnut, Oak and Pine. There are many wild flowers, and the land has been planted with local trees and shrubs to add shade and shelter, and to be enjoyed by all who visit the site.Your gaze will then meet the three traditional buildings, set well back from the entrance, all constructed in the local stone.

Sauterelle

Facing you is Sauterelle, which has a large entrance door, decorated in the traditional rouge basque shade, and this leads you into the light and spacious interior, a sitting room, with a kitchen area supplied with up to date facilities. Look out of the rear window and you may see a deer straying up from the woods. Upstairs are one double bedroom, one bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom. All have exposed natural beams, and combine character with comfort.

Tourterelle

To the left of Sauterelle, you will see Tourterelle, which has also been restored to fit in with modern comfort whilst retaining its character. It has a spacious living area downstairs with a modern kitchen. The exposed beams add to its charm, and it also has a large entrance door. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and a bathroom.

Chanterelle

As you look to the right, there is the original farmhouse, Chanterelle, which has a separate kitchen, and a living/sitting room, with a wood-burning stove to add to the traditional and comfortable atmosphere. Look out to the rear of Chanterelle, and you will see a view of lovely woodland trees, and possibly some cows! There are three bedrooms, to suit groups of friends or families, one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds and one with bunk beds.There is also a modern bathroom upstairs.

All Gites

The rectangular swimming pool measures 15m × 6m and has a depth of 2.5m to 0.75m. The pool is situated to the rear of the buildings in a secluded private sun trap. It has a lovely open aspect with a view of the local wooded area. The pool has easy access by steps or a gentle slope and is ideal for a romantic evening, as the gentle underwater and surrounding lights come on. Children will love the large shallow area, and the pool is fitted with 2 alarms to ensure safety. The pool is available from the end of May, for use by all the gites.

Each gite has its own barbeque, private garden area, sun lounger and Wireless Broadband.

The gites can be booked separately.However, if they are booked together, they are ideal for large family groups or parties of friends.
